How to Apply for FIT’s Help
- Obtain an application by downloading it from this site or by requesting it at the Community Action Council (CAC)
office at 480 Military East in Benicia.
- Fill out the application completely, including the budget page. Retain application to be presented at the interview.
- Call FIT\'s hotline 707-645-3000 and leave name and phone number. A FIT representative will make contact to schedule an
interview within 24 hours and will review the application at that time.
- Provide the documentation requested by the interviewer for verification of residency, employment, and/or income,
such as rental agreement, mortgage payments receipts, PG&E/Water bills, wages stubs, etc.
Application:
- Complete a two-page questionnaire fully and truthfully.
- Sign a flexible voluntary repayment plan sheet.
- Present application to the interviewer at the time of meeting.
